It doesn't change the fact he is the best on the economy. People can run their mouth otherwise but they can't back it up with facts. The math doesn't lie.

His remaining advisers (most likely Ross) obviously talked him down from the ledge.

If he doesn't want this to happen again, the President needs to get much more involved in the process the next time around. Nice try blaming the Democrats, but in the end, the responsibility for the huge spending increases falls on the President's shoulders.

And, I said the exact same thing when Obama was in office.

Vote Libertarian. This kind of budget would never get signed by a Libertarian President. You need a Demicon or a Repbulicrat for this sort of thing. One big out of control political party.

LOL don’t worry by tomorrow they will say it wasn’t his fault. That’s how the kool aid works and Fox and Rush will be blaming others and make it out to be that he had to do it lol

And the lemmings will tow the line with their red MAGA hats .

Love how the trumpees are already making excuses for him. This is why this country elected a con man. People are idiots.

This sort of overspending will hurt the economy long term. You overspend when things are good and there is little wiggle room during the next recession.

Get used to the word austerity.

You don't have it? Don't spend it. Simple concept. Budgeting 101.
I think we are arguing the same point. The hypocrisy is just outrageous. After years of the whole "We can't approve this budget because we are the party of fiscal responsibility" when we were in recession and needed to spend, all of a sudden its ok to pass a big revenue reduction and spending increase. How Ryan and McConnel reconcile this with a straight face just amazes me.

I almost can’t believe Trump fans are shocked by this.

Trump hasn't changed.

The Trump you loved yesterday is the same Trump who just signed that bill. He's a lazy dullard who never in a million years would have taken the time to dig into the budget or negotiate with Democrats or Republicans over it. He's tired of the Mueller investigation, his wife probably isn't speaking to him, his cabinet is in disarray, and all he wants to do is get out of town. He does not now and never has cared about any of his supporters or what they want or need. He learned early on to say things that made crowds cheer, so he said them repeatedly.

I'm sorry you feel duped but all the signs have been there for years.

They traded short term gain for long term failure. The Dems will gut the military and the turn out for the GOP will be pathetic and justifiably so.
