In the US states with tight gun control broadly have a lower homicide rate. These are facts. Why do you think stop and frisk worked so well in NYC? it took thousands upon thousands of guns off the street. NYC homicide rates has been plummeting ever since. The only areas with strict gun control and a high murder are cities situated next to states with very lenient gun control. Chicago and DC.

Drugs is a repeat business, guns are not. So comparing the two is unrealistic of its condition on society. In countries with tight gun control they aren't having many murders but people are still doing drugs so that answers your question.
Or a few hundred a year at best.

Except one is semi auto, like any other semi auto rifle, handgun or shotgun. The other is selectable to full auto.

So ,yeah, same but different...

As has been said ad nauseam, and proven out time after time those countries you tout CULTURES are different. They respect elders, hold teachers in reverence, respect parents and authority figures and fear bringing shame to their family name as well.

Many in our country believe in none of the above...

Why don't they work? Criminals don't obey laws.
So why does it work in:

Australia
New Zealand
Singapore
Japan
South Korea
Poland
Germany
Denmark
Belgium
Sweden
Norway
Italy
Switzerland
Austria
Slovania
France
Spain
Portugal
UK
Ireland

Name one country with weak gun laws like America's that has a low homicide rate.

As a small child I knew full well that if I did anything I was not supposed to do, somebody would tell family. That has followed me into old age.

IMO, most of the crime and drug gangs in our society exists because people put up with it. Out of fear, laziness or just not caring. I have seen thugs take over a couple of nice neighborhoods because the homeowners were afraid to call the police. Which is worse, being afraid while living among gang members and thugs or being afraid of retribution? I'm keeping my shotgun and rifles.

One thing that can be said about these kids. They are mad as hell and they are not gonna take it anymore. They are not afraid.

We best figured out how to stop mass shootings. Or they will. Their numbers will grow, as us old ones all die off.

Sorry Ken that isn't a valid question, whatever solutions that can be implemented have to be done knowing there are over 200 million firearms in circulation. They aren't going to go poof overnight.

Why didn't you include South America countries ? There are many with strict firearms laws.

The UK, Japan, etc., do not have a porous 2,000 mile long border with a 3rd world country whose citizens smuggle drugs, guns, and even humans (illegal aliens, sex slaves, etc.) into their countries.

Agreed, its not going to happen overnight. Look at New York, took them 20 years but they are a much better city for it. Guns taken off the street were not easily replaced. Murder rate fell.
