You're obviously a "beta". Everyone knows only real men can hold a gun and pull the trigger.

I found an interesting article, it states that:

"Adam Lanza, the 20-year-old was able to fire at least 154 rounds in an attack lasting just 264 seconds" https://www.rollingstone.com/politic...choice-w451452

In my opinion any weapon designed to fire that many rounds in 4 minutes is an assault weapon and just because it's a semi-auto does not mean it's not a dangerous weapon with no other purpose than to engage in an assault of human beings.

And from the same source, it seems that gun manufacturers are worried that people are getting bored with the AR-15 so they are creating new and deadlier variants:

"The industry itself is warning of an "AR-15 bubble" and a market that has "matured." It is seeking to replace waning AR profits, warns Sugarmann of the Violence Policy Center, by rolling out even deadlier weapons. That new arsenal includes "next-generation ARs" like the Orlando gun. It means assault pistols – Uzi-size AR-15 variants with shortened muzzles. Shotguns are getting the AR-15 treatment: transformed into semi-automatic assault weapons, equipped with high-capacity magazines. A Georgia company has even revived the Nazi Sturm-gewehr, offering what it calls a "modern interpretation of the classic StG 44."
Virginia tech killed 30 with a couple pistols.

What are you going to do about semi auto pistols?

If you don't want one no sweat off my back. Tens of millions of people want one. Millions of women are smart enough to purchase a gun

Personally I don't think every swinging d*ck should have access to a firearm. With rights come responsibilities, and there are a lot of current protesters that feel that way.
Not if you're over 18 you don't.

As I have said before, for me, we are talking practice at the intensity of 1000 rds of pistol a month and 400 rounds of rifle, at least. Right now, I go to the range weekly but I want to up that to 2, 3 times a week once my schedule changes.

Is it not reasonable that if a person has to shoot, they should have practiced to be as perfect as they can be? No misses.

So don't limit the ammo in any way.

You have become lost in the forest while hunting, you have fallen, and you have broken an arm. With one hand, you might find it very hard to load your rifle or even another magazine.

The rifle distress signal is 3 rounds fired, one minute apart.

How many series of distress signals would you like to fire off?
None! Because these anti-gun people only travel out to the woods with the prerequisite walking stick with bells attached and their whistle... Didn't you know that's all one needs to be safe in the woods?
