China said on Wednesday it won a pledge from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to denuclearize the Korean peninsula during a meeting with President Xi Jinping, who pledged in return that China would uphold its friendship with its isolated neighbor.

Discuss. I'm sure Mr. President will "trust, but verify" but this seems very positive

Again? LOL. He, his father and his grandfather have made such promises only to get deals from the US and then go back to building nukes. It's debatable whether China or North Korea is the worst state liar.

I just hope Dotard doesn't believe him. Hopefully he didn't flatter him.

As someone said, again?

This trip was for coaching about the meeting with Trump, probably had someone act like Trump to help him practice.

The lengths the left will go to, in order to avoid giving ANY credit to the president. Obviously there's a long way to go still, but this can not be spun into anything negative. This is a hugely positive development and no reasonable person can deny that.

We've got it all twisted if we're looking at this based on whether Trump can or cannot receive credit for something that may or may not happen. He's not even in these discussions, and would make an unproductive mess of them if he was.

You are the one with the partisan blinders if you think this is anything new that Trump accomplished. They suckered Clinton, Bush, and Obama dangling this carrot and now are doing the same game with Trump. There is nothing positive about it.

Ah I see. This is a Trump win because they had a Tweet-off?

The defeat of ISIS in both Iraq & Syria, Eastern Europe switching from Russian gas/oil to US gas/oil, Israel & the Arabs sitting down to talk peace at the WH, North Korea volunteering to stop missile testing & denuclearize, and the left won't give one iota of credit to Trump. Not only do they refuse to give any credit at all, they refuse to admit, no worse, they refuse to even consider, that Trump had all of this planned from the get-go. It's all just dumb luck & Obama's hard work.

He is the reason these meetings are even taking place
