Nope. You typed those words today. I said no such thing.
And if you think the right doesn't stereotype the left...well, I'll be polite and say you are incorrect.
Again.... Hillary's words, stereotyping of men and women on the right... Hillary, the liberals choice for president of all American citizens. I didn't even mention the stereotyping from other leftist politicians, if you didn't support Obama or Hillary, then you’re anti-American, a racist, a sexist, or whatever names their robots throw around. Funnier yet, then they expect us to vote for them.
At least "some" of it died down when Obama left office but every time Hillary opens her mouth she uses the same tactic. Obviously she's not understanding that what worked for Obama is no longer working and she's become an embarrassment to the left who are seeing themselves as they looked in the Obama years
More cultist hyperbole. The highest! The bestest! The greatest! BELIEVE ME!
"Cultist"? Yet you are an Obama/Hillary supporter. Then that must make you a "cultist", too. By your logic, anyone who votes for a candidate on either side of the aisle must be a "cultist"
Roseanne wasn’t twenty when it last aired, old people usually never change their ideals. Roseanne was a feminist, pro gay rights, inclusion etc. she wouldn’t like trump for the person he is in terms of her old character and wouldn’t make fun of the Woman’s rights movement/Me too. She probably would have related more to Bernie as a candidate
But the real Roseanne is a staunch trump/alt right weirdo. Her Twitter is plagued with conspiracy theories and attacking the parkland kids.
I only watched because I love the old show and wanted to see what they will do with all the characters. Not sure if I like it enough to get over who Roseanne really is however.
Wanda Sykes (black lesbian) is also a producer so I’ll try to hold on for atleast a season and it seems like ABC is telling Roseanne to stop tweeting
Some people will never get Trump voters. There are the alt-right you like to talk about, the conservatives that felt they had no choice when Ted Cruz was gone, and the middle of the roaders who are sick of both parties and liked the populist message. Just because y’all think Trump is taking women and gay people back to the ‘50s doesn’t mean we agree. What has Trump done to curb women’s rights or gay rights? Nothing, nada, zilch. And he’s not going to.

Politicians and the media puts this propaganda out to dehumanize others who do not support their cause or candidate just as (as an extreme example) Hitler used propaganda to dehumanize the Jewish people. The intent is if they are subhuman (deplorable), what those people say and feel is irrelevant, people to be marginalized and ridiculed.
Today the left refers to anyone on the right as alt-right, words used to imply that anyone who does not believe as they do are extremist, we heard it all (they're racist, bigots, sexist, deplorable, subservient, hate the children, going to cause armageddon etc), and recently they tried taking it further by referring to everyone on the right as white supremacist. Anyone who isn't an extremist knows better but there are many who are easily manipulated and believe the propaganda without evidence. They are the very people who should be asking themselves if they are the extremist.
Another example of word games are used to manipulate people into supporting their cause is to make illegal activity into something acceptable. Words are used to disguise and excused with euphemisms: “Illegal aliens” became “illegal immigrants” and then “undocumented immigrants” and presto-chango, something bad was magically transformed into something good.
Political Correctness - Again the use of "the correct words".... The operating principle behind political correctness is intimidation: If you dare use certain words – even think a certain way – you are considered and called ignorant, insensitive, intolerant, bigoted or hateful, deplorable hence what those people say and feel is irrelevant, people to be marginalized and ridiculed.
There is no doubt that this is a major win for the deplorables. The entertainment industry will have to sit up and take notice that the audience they thought they were gaining with "inclusion" is turning off at least as many, if not more, viewers.
I watched it, I'm a Trump hater.
I thought they did a good job with the show overall. I thought they did a decent job having opposing views, and Rosanne (whom I also don't really care for) showed the complexity of being a Trump supporter, and still caring for your family. She showed that even though supporting him flies in the face of decency, you can still vote for a guy because he "talked about" getting jobs (her words, not mine), and yet, still go out and fight the very people who supported him, who are the same ones who would bully a 9-year old child because he's "different".
She also showed how most conservatives preach that they are in favor of traditional values (in this case, when it comes to making babies), but when push comes to shove, and when it's their family, they will support their family rather than actually stick to their guns on the issues the claim to support as a core value.
I really didn't intent to write such a snarky post. I really did think it was a good episode, and that she did a decent job of showing both sides of the issues. Even more, she showed that issues are more complex than just two sides. It was good. I really didn't realize it when I watched, but as I typed this, I guess it really did highlight how hypicritical the deplorables really are. Many of them are really decent people. Just too damn stupid to realize that what they voted for does NOT in ANY way support their decent values.
I'll be watching it again. Not for the politics, but because it was funny.
The other thing I noticed is that unlike the thin-skinned deplorables, Libs were able to watch an opposing view without being butt-hurt. So what, she thinks differently than me. I don't care. I'll watch if it entertains me, and won't watch if it doesn't. It's that simple.

"talked about" getting jobs"?
Do you prefer they support a politician because they think they'll get money from his stash like some people voted for Obama because they thought they would get money from Obama's stash?
KEN ROGULSKI: Why are you here?
WOMAN: To get some money.
ROGULSKI: What kind of money?
WOMAN: Obama money.
ROGULSKI: Where's it coming from?
WOMAN: Obama.
ROGULSKI: And where did Obama get it?
WOMAN: I don't know. His stash. I don't know. I don't know where he got it from but he's giving it to us, to help us. We love him. That's why we voted for him. Obama! Obama!
