I enjoy a good laugh. I think Wanda Sykes is hysterical at times. Roseanne made me laugh back in the day.

But for the life of me, I didn't find anything funny about this episode.

It IS okay to state an opinion, is it not?

But then, who knows?

Apparently, some found it funny that Roseanne shoved her granddaughter's head under the kitchen faucet.
Perfect example of the que entering right on cue. It's gotta be a club...

I agree. It was boring and I lost interest half way through. I used to be a fan of the show but I doubt I'll go out of my way to tune in next week. Besides, Dan, Rosanne and Darlene I'm not warming up to the other characters. And I wonder if they keep with political themes if it isn't straying too far away from what made the original series so popular. If done right, political themes could be another Archie Bunker or Last Man Standing---both of which I loved---but so far I'm not seeing that happening. In 'Bunker' and 'Last Man' the counterpoint to the main character were not silly caricatures like over-acting Jackie is portrayed. Right and left where balanced.

It is desperation on the part of tv producers.

It's like the Will & Grace 'reboot' -- watched the first one and then lost interest.

Who wants to watch shows that were brought back from the grave?

Reminds me of Pet Sematary.

Good-sized drop-off from the first week though.

'We now have the answer: Comparing 8-8:30 p.m. week to week, the “Roseanne” decline was -20 percent in the key 18-49 demographic and -16 percent in overall viewers. If you were to include last week’s 8:30-9 p.m. time slot as well, last night’s “Roseanne” drop-off grows to -25 percent in the demo and -18 percent overall."

I think it’s funny that the head writer of this show is a black liberal lesbian and one of the executive producers is a jewish lesbian.

And y’all think this is a Trump right wing propaganda show?

Very bright LOL!!!

Absolutely false.

I, and many other liberals, found the first two episodes funny and sweet.

The third one was just mean, loud and abrasive.

ProTip: You don't need to agree with every little thing anyone on this Earth says or does.

Perfect example of someone not reading or comprehending the words others are saying.

...
Nailed it.

First two episodes were funny and clever. Stiff, but that would likely work out over time.

So watched the third one and wondered what the hell happened.

Where was the humor? What was funny about Roseanne shoving her granddaughter's head under the kitchen faucet?

I hope they get back on track. This group of actors has potential to help us put some hatefulness to rest. Humor has a way of doing that.
