Well we see the wingnuts running around all triggered.... funny thing is i thought it was the Left that got triggered over nothing???

I mean we all know it already, but it is a good example. Right wing claims those on the left are weak minded and easy to upset, now they are running around like their heads are on fire just because a sitcom is cancelled when the star makes overtly racist statement...

All in good fun, of course.

She said it was a "bad joke" (I should say) and apologized. So all's well that ends well.
ABC doesn't agree.

Yikes.
Healthy well-adjusted people tend to not be affected by words spoken neither to them or about them in a Tweet written by a well-known loudmouth actress. Saving ones' outrage for things that really matter is a virtue.

Yes, words matter. And it's not because it's words. It's what is behind the words that matters.

Since this is no big whoop, no one should care that her show was cancelled. Carry on.

Default ‘Roseanne’ Canceled by ABC After Roseanne Barr’s ‘Repugnant’ Comments, Network President Says

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/tvnew...ays/ar-AAxZuvi

Good riddance to bad rubbish

Brief quote:

ABC has canceled "Roseanne" after Roseanne Barr's racially charged tweet about Valerie Jarrett Monday morning.
"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show," ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement to TheWrap on Tuesday.
"muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj," Barr said earlier on Tuesday in response to a Twitter thread about Jarrett, a former adviser to Barack Obama.

Words are one of the only ways we have to communicate, in a very specific manner, our ideas, thoughts, emotions, etc.

It's the words and what is being communicated by those words.
