Dan and Wanda Sykes has my vote.

Roseanne goes to Mexico to save money on that knee operation and doesn't pull through. So sad.

Wanda is the FEMA administrator that Dan has to keep meeting with for approvals on the dry wall work he's done after the floods. Do to grief, family objection, they decide just to keep company until he needs bypass surgery and they marry to get on her government insurance.

Wanda lost her husband in a tragic accident. (Crushed by a beer vat?) They empathize on the problems of looking out after grown kids.

I absolutely love John Goodman. He's the heart of the show for me. Hope they find a series that he's willing to do. I don't are what it is, I'd watch anything with him in it.

Never watched the show. Not my cup of tea. I do feel bad for all the people out of a job suddenly through no fault of their own.

Her ratings had dropped 46% from the first episode. She managed to make a lot of folks stop watching for a variety of reasons.

This just gave them a excuse. She deserved it.

She figured she would get away with it like years earlier when she referred to Rice as an ape.

I believe that Barr owns the rights to that show. If so, there will probably be no spin off -- blackballing is blackballing.

Very much so.

I thought the same thing when I first heard about it.

Free speech has never meant freedom from all consequences.

Hope it was worth it, Roseanne!

I suspect that ABC was attempting to control content to appease the Trump cult since the show had become something of a favorite for deplorables. I only saw a couple episodes and couldn't figure out how it was supposed to be friendly to Trump. It seemed to show a family that drank the Trump koolaid only to realize that their life was still as messed up as ever.

Her character voted for Trump the family as a whole was not friendly to Trump. In fact her sister hated Trump. I have only watched the first episode. It was ok, but I was never a big fan the first time around either.

She was on Stern a few weeks back and talked about the first season her original show hit #1 in her time slot the network prez sent over a chocolate cake with #1 on it. George Clooney was part of the cast and told her stars of other shows got new cars and other types of things from the networks when they hit #1. So they took the cake and dumped in the parking lot and took a Polaroid of it and mailed to the network prez. The show almost got canceled for that stunt.

The network said it was picking up the 2nd season but also said the show was going away from talking about politics. That might have upset Rosanne and she decided to pull the plug. She is not big on being told what to do. In fact her being a Trump supporter might come more from being expected to be a Trump hater since she works in Hollywood more than really liking Trump. She has been a socialist most of her life and probably still is.

she doesn't need a justification, she can say and thinks what she wants. you being offended is not going to change anyone's mind.

This isn't about CAN. We all know she can say what she thinks. That is a moot point. The questions are this:

SHOULD she say those things in the first place? Why would anyone want to defend such comments? What was her point in saying those things in the first place, and what is going on in that mind of hers?
