And how do you know what the typical experience is??? Just because you THINK most conservative families ostracize gay family members, doesn’t make it true....don’t regurgitate what CNN feeds you.

Oh get over the CNN thing already. That statement doesn't even make sense....is CNN consistently airing stories about gays being ostracized? No. For decades we have heard stories about gays being disowned, kicked out, etc by their families & yes, most times the ones doing it are conservative. Has nothing to do w/CNN.

Yes, you hear those stories on the news, and yes, they are typically from a conservative family; however, that does not necessarily mean the majority of conservatives who have a gay family member are doing that. The news only shares stories of the extreme. Just because the news is showing it, does not make it the norm.

Glad you agree it is typically conservative families that do it.

My point in my original post was regarding what is the “typical conservative family experience”, you’re the one trying to change the point and read into something that wasn’t there.

I liked it watched both episodes and I thought the handled it well, the political stuff was fairly minor and seeing everyone much older was interesting. I liked that they had both actresses who played Becky in it. Also I like how they poked fun at the original runs last season by making fun of "memoirs"also they had a few really good easter eggs. One of which is DJ's wife

I don't understand why people are making the show's success about Trump. Trump loves the positive attention even though it isn't to his full credit. He has a love/hate relationship with Hollywood. Roseanne was popular before Trump's presences in politics. I enjoy the show. I don't enjoy Trump.

There's another. She's quite the conspiracy theorist, too. https://www.thedailybeast.com/rosean...ame?ref=scroll

One who butchered and grabbed her private, during the national anthem had the biggest ratings on TV, and the reboot is just as big! Someone else who kneeled during that same anthem can no longer find a job in his profession!
