Trump appointed Secretary VA is history.

Likely the ethics questions involving his trip to Europe had some influence on the outcome.

Ethics, my ear. It is never about ethics in D.C. It had to do with conservatives helping their donors to get at the billions budgeted for health services through so-called privatization.

I just read that the nominee is Donald Trump's personal doctor, and my immediate thought was that it was the weirdo, Harold Bornstein, who signed off back in 2016 on Presidential candidate Trump's "clean bill of health".

Instead, the nominee is the doctor assigned by the government to provide care to the POTUS. Ronny Jackson is both an MD and a Navy admiral.

So it's not as bad as I had feared.

That is what I thought at first also.

The good news is that trump's 'personal physician' isn't that guy who wrote that exam report while trump was waiting in his limo.

Is Dr. Jackson being rewarded for lying about trump's weight? No way he's 236. Or 6'3", for that matter.

Same thing happened to me. I’m overjoyed that Shulkin is gone. My only complaint is that he should have NEVER been appointed. He was probably Pence’s pick.

I don’t trust the new one-he’s too political but he’s better than Shulkin.
