If Russia is "mired" in Syria, you would think they want to get out and suck the US in. Look sup "mired".

Let them have the Syria tar baby. Russia loves to entangle the US in another war. My only intervention would be to close the Tehran-Damascus highway, and that could be done by air power.

President Donald Trump has said that the US will withdraw its troops from Syria “very soon” despite repeated declarations that he would not divulge military movements.
I wish our troops would pull out of everywhere real soon. I thought that was one of his campaign promises. Bring all the troops home that are scattered all over the world. But Trump has said lots of things.

We don't need to be policing the world, nation building or looking after corporate interests abroad.

Bring our soldiers home.

I just plain old don't trust the man.

If he was a dictator the country would be in tatters.
Thank goodness there are enough American s willing to enforce checks and balances. Or at least give the wannabee s a run for their money.

I agree with Putin on this. Glad Trump does too. Hillary wanted ISIS to oust Assad. That is evil.

If we pull out of Syria, we abandon the Kurds.

We pull out of Syria, and the Russians, Syrian, and Turkish military will obliterate them.

They've been our partners in the fight against ISIS. They are being attacked by Turkey at this very moment. With US weapons no less.

Makes me sick to think that we are going to sell them out again.

I'm sure you do agree with Putin. No doubt about that.

So does Trump. Has there ever been any question about that either?

Honestly....that's not my problem, your problem, or anyone else's. Why do our troops need to be involved in this mess any longer? After 9-11 I supported going into both Afghanistan and Iraq because our interests were at stake. Someone please tell me how the Syrian civil war affects us !!! There is no upside whatsoever be in there.
