Not protected by 2A according to four courts so far. Scotus has let the rulings stand.
Exactly why more Justices who are Constitutionalists need to serve at SCOTUS. Too many SCOTUS Justices are violating their Oath of Office to "support and defend the Constitution," and are getting away with it. They should be impeached for deliberately violating the Oaths they swore to serve at SCOTUS.
To consider anti-constitutional anti-Americans to be traitors?
Traitors because they have opinions? Last I checked, anyone that is against the 2nd amendment (if that's what this is about) isn't actually taking up arms against their country.
Aren't we supposed to be a developed country? Can a private citizen simply have an opinion about something, to include rights in the constitution that were written 230 years ago that could use some revising, without being labeled a traitor?
The first amendment gives us freedom of speech, so we are free to say whatever we like, whether you or anyone likes it or not. So with your questioning our right to speak freely and be labeled traitors for doing so, could that possibly make you a traitor?!
See how we could go around and around in circles forever? What a silly idea for a new thread.
Yes. With all our school shootings, the militia is well regulated.
Did a militia commit the school shooting? Or was it one of "the people?"
Basic reading comprehension 101, folks:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State," (The reason for enumerating the following Constitutional Right...)
"the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." (The actual enumerated Constitutional Right)
The people are ALWAYS the people, and only sometimes act as a militia.
Please don't be obtuse.
