You mean AR platform firearms. Nothing "sporting" about them that can't be done better by a multitude of other guns.

Companies that are willing to lose business by inserting themselves in politics don't get my business if I can avoid it.

My impression of Dicks is overpriced.

I used to go to Dicks for all my sporting purchases, guns/ammo, kids softball & baseball, soccer and basketball...Academy has gotten my business since Dicks implemented their new stance.
I am sure they will note JackF shopping elsewhere in their SEC quarterly reports.

The problem I have with them is not that they chose not to sell AR's. It's that they went beyond that and asked for a ban on guns they had sold for years themselves. It was a major slap in the face of people who had given them considerable business. They are free to do so and we are free to boycott.

So an anonymous poster on a message board decides to shop with the cheaper competitor. Color me unimpressed.

AR platform rifles are the best selling rifles in the country. I suspect the people putting down their money are far more knowledgeable about the subject than you are.

The Bass Pro Shop ad came in today's mail. One item was not listed, AR design style guns. They had shot guns, rifles and hand guns.

They must be following Dicks marketing.

Gun nuts huff and puff and threaten to boycott stores that refuse to support their agenda, but the reality is, these companies are not a one trick pony. They sell a lot more than guns.

I can almost feel the smoke coming off of the computer screen from Trumpees all up in arms (no pun intended) about the shift that is happening in America right now. They are in for a very difficult time in their lives because things are about to change dramatically. The days of regular citizens being able to own weapons of war are coming to an end, finally !

Bass Pro's guns are overpriced anyway. Any little gun shop can beat their prices.
