He's a showman.

The persona that he plays, the one that working class people can relate to, is an act to get votes. He knows nothing of what its like to be working class. He's never had to work up from nothing. But he plays the part of the "regular guy" because people like it.

No one can keep up that persona all the time. He appears ignorant 100% of the time. Even actors couldn't keep an act like that up this long. People in the White House and behind closed doors think he's an idiot.

Yup. Back in the day he was the darling of the television talk show circuit where he was heard by a wide ranging audience and was quite articulate and fact based in his demeanor. Nowadays he has had to dumb down his public utterances so his low information trailer park base can understand.

Calling Trump “articulate” was always a relative thing. He may have sounded less illiterate years ago, but he was always one of the least articulate Ivy Leaguers in the public realm.

Hillary used to be a lot more articulate. Why? Now every other sentence is "Ya know?"

She also used to be a lot more graceful and nimble.

More elitisist snobbery from the liberal left.

What exactly do you have against working class people, or people struggling to make ends meet?

My in-laws started their married life in a trailer and now are multi-millionaires. That's the "American dream" that Trump is trying to resuscitate.

The next democratic candidate might have to dumb down also and start speaking in Ebonics hood language to rile up all the welfare queen base.
