What in Heaven's name is going on in the heads of these teen girls and young women?
As another poster stated, this is pretty commonplace for notorious, hard core criminals to get a female fan base.
Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new. For some reason some women are drawn to these types of insane individuals. Even Ted Bundy, infamous killer and torturer of at least 36 women (he admitted to 36, but investigators believed it was probably closer to 100) received love letters in jail from women who apparently thought they were in love with him. I know it sounds crazy, but this sort of thing is actually normal.
I bet 95% of those letters are dudes trolling/catfishing him, Lol. I have not yet seen a woman on social media/TV confessing her undying love for him. Im sure theyre are women out there as insane as him. Crazy is attracted to crazy.

Thats pretty sad and pathetic if that many guys are taking the time to sit down and write a letter, and/or send him money, all in the name of trolling him! They must have a lot of free time on their hands.
