Why is that? The OP has the actual tweet, which you claimed it didn't have even though your quoted post had the picture of the tweet. Looks like you've got the reading comprehension problem.

Out of YOUR opinion of the context. My context is that Republicans prove on a regular basis that they hate poor people but regularly lie to them to get their votes. So no, I don't find this excerpt from the original tweet out of context.

Poverty crosses party lines. Americans knew a takeover has occurred, but the establishment (elites) wrote off Sanders as a departure from the norm and didn’t take Trump seriously. In other words, the elites ignored the needs and wants of the average American both left and right. Hillary is their chosen candidate but since Trump won they organize to block him every step of the way. Would they have done that with Bernie Sanders? Well actually, they did.

Both Bill Clinton and Obama pushed for free trade agreements. They stood by as corps hammered trade unions, the backbone of working Americans, and they failed to reform labor laws to impose meaningful penalties on companies that violate them. Partly as a result, union membership fell from 22% of all workers when Clinton was elected president to less than 12% today, and the working class lost bargaining leverage to get a share of the economy’s gains.

The unsurprising result of this combination (more trade, declining unionization and more industry concentration) has been to shift political and economic power to big corporations and the wealthy while American workers continue to struggle because wages remain stagnant.

Really? Want to provide some examples? Are you joking? If they are lying to poor people to get their votes it certainly isn't working because most poor vote Democrat yet they do nothing to pull them out of poverty they just keep them on hand outs for the rest of their lives.

Large corporations grew larger, and more concentrated while American workers lost their jobs and wages remained stagnant. Americans rebelled by supporting someone who wants to fortify America against foreigners as well as foreign-made goods. The power structure fears that Trump’s isolationism will slow economic growth. But most Americans couldn’t care less about growth because for years while the rich benefited greatly the American worker received few of its benefits, while suffering most in the forms of lost jobs and lower wages.

The power structure (the elites) was and is still shocked by the outcome of the 2016 election because it has cut itself off from the lives of most Americans. Perhaps it also doesn’t wish to understand, because that would mean acknowledging its role in hurting the American people and acknowledging its role in enabling the presidency of Donald Trump.
