why not? Ok, maybe not that but we are raising a bunch of disrespectful brats. I can assure you, if any of my grandkids or my great grandkids tried this their parents would make sure they never did it again. These kids have no idea why they even do something like that or what it all means. One doesn't have to agree with all our country does and yes, there are still people who are racists on both sides, but every child should be taught to respect our flag and our national song.
but they would still be on film doing it the one time and everyone would be calling YOU and your family all types of names.
kneeling isn't disrespecting the flag. The flag represents/protects freedom of speech.
If you think that kids are too young to know what it "means" to kneel during the National Anthem, then aren't they also too young to know what it "means" to stand for it?
Have they been taught both sides of the issue or just that America is a bad place full of racism?
what exactly is the other side of the issue that racism is bad? Racism exists in our country. Pretending otherwise would be a lie. That doesn't mean that protesting the existence of it is the same thing as saying that "America is a bad place full of racism" - again, that is just the RWNJ blogosphere spin on it.
Oh for heaven's sake, those are few and far between. yes, there are bad people in every profession and yes, we are all human, but to put it the way you do is narrow minded and only partially true.
...so it's okay if only 'a few' priest's or minister's molest the kids?....you, my friend are the narrow minded one...just, keep hitting that sunday mass, you'll be saved...lol!
What does this have to do with kids kneeling when they have no idea why they are doing this?
