Wonder what would have happened if Jimmy Kimmel had mocked Michelle Obama's race or mannish appearance.....although we know that would never have happened. Strange how far comedians have gone down the tubes over the years. And they get paid for this? https://www.thedailybeast.com/kimmel...-escape-tunnel
I've said it before, and I will say it again, the POTUS' family is off limits.
The POTUS' family should always be off limits. But as usual, the losing team always has something to say. Since POTUS Trump has taken office, liberals have constantly been making jokes about Melania, Ivanka, and Trump Jr. Jokes about Trump's infidelity, Melania's citizenship status, Trump Jr's demeanor, etc.
And when Obama was in office, conservatives insulted his family. Calling the former FLOTUS Michelle Obama "classless" because she wore a sleeveless dress (something Jackie Kennedy did in the 1960s and something Melania Trump did last year). Michelle Obama was also called a "gorilla" about a year before Obama left office.
Both sides are guilty.
I wish the world was a kinder place and Americans actually followed the "family values" they claim to live by. But humans are deeply flawed, and when people don't agree with their opinions about something, especially politics, both outspoken liberals and conservatives often times resort to insults and name-calling. The behavior of children.
Honestly, this is nothing but false outrage from the right. What Kimmel said was tame. Compare that to some of the most disgusting and revolting comments that I have read from the right regarding Michelle Obama on this forum and right-wing media this was nothing.
Spare me this phony outrage.
