The US and Turkey are allies, yet the US is arming and providing on-ground support for the YPG, a group which Turkey views as a terror organization. This relationship though has not significantly impacted US-Turkey relations.

We could have retained some control by partnering with Turkey to build the power plant... but the Democrat Party is tied at the hip to radical environmentalists.

Or, we could realize that nowhere does the Constitution task us with being the World Police and concentrate on making our own country as strong and well-defended as possible rather than continually sticking our nose into the business of others.
