You do. Read the Burdick vs united states link I provided earlier. I believe it covers it.

edit-correction. What G1 said above is more accurate.

There’s the potential of violating attorney/client privilege as well as being a dirt digging expedition to pass onto his political enemies for mud slinging for the upcoming election. Considering the recent FBI’s clear partisan actions during and after the election they should be walking on eggshells to avoid even the appearance of partisan actions.
It should be noted that no evidence whatsoever of such collusion has been developed and made public, which has to be a deep embarrassment at a minimum. "Trust us," the FBI says, even as its stonewalls congressional inquiries into its own potentially criminal behavior investigating the president.

Well other then all the evidence we've seen so far. To deny it at this point is beyond the pale.

What hasn't been seen is any evidence that Trump did so. Which is not the point of Muellers investigation.

Having failed to find anything related to his mandate, no evidence of Russian collusion, Mueller is baiting Trump. By stepping over the line and fishing for evidence in confidential and privileged attorney-client relations, he wants a firestorm. Timing is everything here. There is an election in 4+ months, the House and Senate is at stake. Even if the evidence developed out of the raid is thrown out of court, that is irrelevant. What is important is the ammunition to be developed and leaked to pet media outlets that can be used to sway voters to elect an impeachment Congress, exactly what the deep state wants.

If partisan prosecutors can target citizens for their political views, we've lost our rights. It appears now that the deep state does not care if the public knows what they are doing. It is all-out war on Trump right now. Would you call hime a dirty cop

The Democrats were ready to impeach Trump even BEFORE he took his oath of office as president. But Impeachment is for crimes and misdemeanors, not simply because you can't believe your candidate Lost. But it's been over a year and they found nothing.

The one thing I would think is that anything found re Trump can't be used against him because of attorney-client privilege but that doesn't mean they won't make it public and destroy him that way. If only leftists cheering this on understood what it means more broadly.

You mean that he failed to find anything related to his mandate other than the stuff plainly laid out in his indictments, right? Oh, and whatever other stuff he has found that is not publicly available.

This is about one thing and one thing only, and that is at the top of the list, getting rid of Donald Trump. If they can’t do that, delegitimizing Donald Trump. In addition to getting rid of Donald Trump, protect Obama and Hillary, because that’s where the real collusion and conspiracies took place.

And Americans wonder why we'll never see change ...
