What's clearly evident in this thread is the "by any means necessary" mentality among the extremists on the left (not all Democrats mind you support this & no liberals do). There are literally no moral or ethical boundaries the extreme far left would not gladly cross, no laws they would not celebrate breaking, so long as they can "get" Trump on something.
I await the IG report, although there is nothing the IG could possible say that would convince the most extremist of the left, that there is deep seeded corruption & politicization within the intelligence community. Those people have already seen the FBI texts talking saying they "can't risk a a Trump victory". They've seen the texts of the FBI setting up the secret meeting with the FISA judge, who was a close personal friend, how they did so to avoid people seeing the obvious conflict of interest. They know Carter Page was not a Russian spy, but rather a long time undercover FBO agent. They've read the texts about the FBI setting up their "insurance plan" in case Trump won. They've read the texts of Agent Strzok saying he didn't believe there was "any there, there", yet he took the job on Mueller's team anyhow. They read the texts of them talking about launching "an investigation that leads to impeachment.". They know the FBI/DOJ is refusing to hand over the evidence showing the conspiracy against Trump. They know Mueller has a blatant conflict of interests in the case, with his close friend & protege being the key witness. They know about the blatant conflict of interest with Rod Rosenstein's wife having represented Hillary numerous times. They understand 100% that this is a coup d'etat staged against the American people, they just don't care because they hate Trump and have pledged to get him out "by any means necessary".
And the zombie apocalypse is just around the corner as well. Where do you get this **** from? Rhetorical question. You just listed every single bat crap crazy conspiracy theory that Trump would be personally proud to list as well...sad.

What does any of this have to do with Cohen’s misadventures?
Are you suggesting that certain people, by virtue of their connections, should be immune from possible prosecution?
If Cohen had paid off, say, one of Spitzer’s hookers, would you care that his office had been raided?
What's clearly evident in this thread is the "by any means necessary" ....
again, cohen facing potential charges for campaign finance violations is not a surprise. we've been discussing it for weeks in the stormy daniels thread...... based on cohen's own statements.
Sounds like the Access Hollywood tape is making a comeback:
my guess is that will have more to do with showing a pattern of cohen offering money to try and keep anything from damaging the campaign ( assuming cohen offered a pay-off for the tape at some point ). cohen is currently claiming that he paid daniels out of the goodness of his heart without any consideration of the campaign ( because, if he did, that would be an illegal campaign contribution ).

I won’t make any guesses as to what they are looking for, but I very much look forward to reading about the case the SDNY is building. Should be delicious.

most of the media keeps pointing at the daniels and mcdougal pay-offs but i think those are just part of the violations.
don't know. i too look forward to seeing the actual case the SDNY has put together.
Your problem is the claim is a lie, and you've been hoaxed.
But the debunking has been ubiquitous...even Fox debunked it...

Fox’s Shep Smith Debunks Right Wing’s Pet ‘Uranium One’ Scandal
Fox News’ Shepard Smith took six minutes out of his show Tuesday to debunk what has become Republicans’ attack du jour against Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration: “Uranium One.”

If Trump supporters would occasionally acknowledge they were wrong when presented with objective proof, they might actually have some credibility. But, like Trump, they view such admissions as a sign of weakness rather than of integrity and intellectual honestly (like most people do). That is one of the main reasons why they are a laughingstock without any semblance of credibility.
