Ironically, or perhaps not, liberals are now pro-MIC since that the NatSec Complex came out against Trump.
They're as politically knowledgeable and consistent as they were in Seattle 1999 when they lit the city on fire in an
anti-globalization protest.
They are essentially an emotional mob, prone to violence and emotional ploys to a vague "progress", with close to nil true historical or political knowledge.
Their largest advances come when a particularly under-educated contingent becomes especially loud over a demand for economic or social rent (unearned advantage).
Its especially fun to watch them squirm, in the present day, over their adopted MIC's long obvious war designs and their previous conscious. Don't want to seem politically conflicted and disown the MIC, but am uncomfortable with killing. What to do?
The East is why our elites LARP on about tranny rights. Its a social weapon against the more conservative East. It erodes our social structures, but it also erodes theirs. And theirs are more fragile to such change (especially in the Islamist world).
We win and dominate from a static geographic position, in-spite and in-part because of the weaponized social degeneracy. Of course, that'll all revert one day if it and its associated ideologies don't kill us first (civilizationally).
However, for now its part of the forever war against the East. Note how we can pretty much get away with invading people now because they aren't progressive enough. Or otherwise pin supposed flaws in some periodic democratic process on a lack of progressiveness and then invade or intimidate into compliance. If and when we wanted to.
Its ironic and amusing to watch liberals, who mostly understand nothing, attempt to impotently co-op MIC style anti-Russia war rhetoric as if they've always been banging the war drums.
What they like, for now, is globalization and anti-Russia war rhetoric.
When you know that they were crying about Peace when GWB was doing the same exact work when he invaded Iraq, as was Obama when he coddled the Syrian War into perpetual existence, and you know that they were burning Seattle for anti-globalization in 1999.
Its like watching a dog chase a bone. Flip, flop, flip... Look over here, sparky! There is absolutely zero sense of a political center, even over relatively short periods of time. Their perspectives and values can be flipped almost on a dime, which is a property of having almost zero political nor historical knowledge as well as being emotionally primed to react to certain triggers.
Re: Russia.
Russia is a natural enemy because of its geographic position. Nothing can change that. If you live here, your interests probably reside here. If you live there, your interests probably reside there. Russia is simply too close to East Asia to be our friend. Its interests lie there, not here.
There is limited political and economic pie, world dominance wise. Moreover, there are critical regions between here and there that Russia stands in the way of. I like many Russians (its a large disparate nation). However, the geographically based political animosity will always continue because the world can't be controlled from multiple locuses. For many reasons. And giving up control in one spot means that another spot will be invaded and lost.
Haley isn't wrong. She knows the score. Just realize she has absolutely zero to do with anything whatsoever.
