Explain why if stopped by a cop in a few minutes he can know your ENTIRE criminal record NATIONWIDE just by scanning your driver's license.
The same system could be used to run a criminal check on buying guns.
As been said, apply the SAME thousands of gun laws to the 1st amendment that are applied to the 2nd amendment.

- More people die from cars than from, say... medical malpractice. So, based on right-wing logic, we shouldn't care about medical malpractice either, right?
- There are various laws that prevent people from driving while too young, drunk, blind, etc. Righties want no laws on guns... so, if guns are like cars, they should be regulated, too.

Hell they don't even support photo ID , too hard to get, too expensive, too inconvenient, etc. yet, want gun buyers to go through all sorts of hoops to exercise THEIR "rights".
