Apparently, for nothing, as the Philadelphia Police Chief stated they were released after no evidence of criminal activity. These guys walked out without so much a 5 dollar fine.

Because they hired lawyers are going to try to shame Starbucks into settling for a large amount or threaten to sue them for supposed discrimination?

Why didn't they leave when they were asked? Why didn't they leave when the cops told them to leave or be arrested? They had to leave regardless, they could have walked out on their own or in cuffs and be arrested, why choose to be arrested?

Which white loiterers?

They were released because Starbucks did not want to pursue charges.

WRONG! Whites came forward and admitted to loitering, the man in the video ADMITTED to being there LONGER than the 2 black men, and he didn't buy anything, so he was loitering around. Whites did admit in a statement to police that they DID in FACT ask to use the bathroom and was given the code without buying anything.

So again why where NON-Payiny Whites treated so much differently by the Starbucks staff?

Reference please. I didn't read that in any of the stories.

How can he admit to being there longer than them and then say he was there to meet them for a business meeting but they didn't even know who he was.

Which video? All I see is white guilt and white outrage about not knowing what is going on and the cops doing their jobs and some white man lying and trying to vouch for them and they have no idea who he is.

Could be. None of us were there.

I don't know if I would have left when asked if I were waiting for someone and wasn't doing anything wrong. I don't know if I would have left if police came and told me to leave. I think I would have tried to explain first. You could be right or you could be wrong. We will have to hope someone gets to the bottom of this. If they end up suing for a huge sum of money, as you stated, then maybe you are right. Until then, innocent until proven guilty.

“Her clients, who declined to be identified, were released eight hours later because the district attorney found no evidence of a crime, she said, adding the Starbucks manager was white.”
