common sense and manners, tells you, that if you walk into an eating facility, you don't take up a table, and chair, if you aren't going to order anything....b/c you'd be taking away from regular customers that come in and buy something....
I don't believe this was innocent, I believe these guys set this up for a law suit, but, don't believe they have any ground to stand on....
1. it is against the law to loiter
2. if your on someone else's property and they ask you to leave, you must
3. they resisted the officers
same ol' song and dance....
entitlement....
I gotta share this story, so funny....this guy was tail gating me, all the way to work, and I mean, really tail gating me....young kid...so, after 11 miles, we come to a double lane, and he passes me, on the right...and at the light, his car breaks down....lol
This has got to be the dumbest BLM issue yet. I have been told countless times that I had to buy something to use a bathroom. You can’t trespass and loiter in a store. Sad that people lost their job over this garbage.
I always thought this rule was dumb.
When we are traveling, if we can't find a rest area or we aren't traveling on the highways, we'll find a big chain store like Target or Walmart in which to use the bathrooms.
I always thought it was common sense to buy something before asking to use a bathroom.
I've been in many gas stations - Turkey Hill, Sheetz, small independent jobs etc. - where the bathrooms are totally open for the public to use. No purchase required.
The whole thing was nonsense. People wait for friends at restaurants all the time. However, it bothered this manager so much that these guys were sitting there minding their own business. Never seen an issue when someone says they are waiting on another person. The incident was uncalled for...
