Obviously making money isn't their #1 priority.
You’ve never met evangelicals? Their #1 priority is God, and they are bible literalists generally. Any company that voluntarily gives up business on Sundays probably thinks that’s a little more important than profits.

When I was a teenager and ate at my first Chick-fil-A in the early ‘80s, they were only found in mall food courts (in my area at least). Back then we still had blue laws in Texas so malls weren’t open on Sundays. I never realized they didn’t open on Sundays until they were actually allowed to be but chose not to. Most retailers were lobbying for their businesses to be allowed to open on Sundays.

I sure was glad when they legalized it, though it was kind of nice to have a job and always have a weekend day off from work. I usually went to the beach or hung out at the park on Sundays rather than go to church, but it was nice because most people were off that day (except those poor kids who worked at the movie theater or Whataburger because they were the only stores open in the mall before they lifted the blue laws).

I just wish they would add lettuce to their chicken sandwiches and drop some cents off their menu prices. Other than that their food is the best tasting out of the major fast food chains. You liberals can whine all you want about the social views of head mgmt but at the end of the day despite being closed on Sundays, more often than not they do better business than your precious Starbucks.

I do not know if your comment is beyond stupid, but it surely qualifies as ignorant.

Why aren't they protesting the companies that sell products from child and slave labor???

Yet liberals flail in the wind screaming about it a certificate piece of paper that stops NO ONE from living or not living their lives, while children and slaves pick their coffee beans and make their clothes.

They have deluxe sandwiches now that include lettuce and tomatoes.

They aren't protesting -- they just aren't eating at Chick Fil A...they aren't giving them their money.

And lots of people I know do boycott companies that are accused of using child/slave labor.

They aren't flailing in the wind any more than you are with this rant.
