The clock just struck 12:00 midnight MDT here in beautiful Denver, CO, and I just wanted to wish everyone a joyous day celebrating the government's robbery of the income of hard-working Americans.

Cheers!

Sammy gave us 2 extra days to pay him his tribute. Tax Day is Tuesday.

Sunday was out. Monday is out. Here's why...

Quote:
The nation's capital celebrates Emancipation Day to mark the date that President Abraham Lincoln freed slaves there in 1862. While it's a local holiday, it affects when taxes are due.

Sweet Jesus the irony.

Oh wow. Show's how little attention I pay to the robbers.

Looks like I'll have to bump this post in 23 hours.

My sister got a ton of money back this year. She keeps boasting about it like it was given to her by the magic government fairy.

I keep telling her "Fool, that's your money. They had no right to take it from you in the first place."

We've got a long way to go. A long way.

They should send everyone those postcards that charities send when you donate.

Except instead of a nice monthly postcard from the kid in Guatemala you're sponsoring, the government can send a monthly photograph of the ruins of whichever particular Middle Eastern warzone your taxes went to.

Awesome!

I prefer to get a postcard from the dead kid in Syria I sponsored to have blown to pieces though.

"This was Adnan. He was 9-years-old. He liked playing soccer with his friends and helping his younger brother with his school work. Thanks to your generous "donation" we managed to kill Adnan and his entire family."

Pass the Fair Tax Act, Senate Bill 18 and House Resolution 25, a national consumption tax that repeals the income tax (and a slew of others as well) and April 15th just becomes another day.

As much as we all hate paying this tax, all of us also expect a lot of services from the Government, and there is no free service fairy. The money has to come from somewhere.

Funny how some of you want to build a "big beautiful wall" that will cost umteen billions, yet you complain about paying for it. Very confusing !

Its even more ironic that every day you work until "tax day" (and a couple more) is used to pay your taxes.

Trumps "Biggest Tax Bill and Tax Cuts in history just passed in the Senate," made Tax Freedom Day come three days earlier.

"Tax Freedom Day is a significant date for taxpayers and lawmakers because it represents how long Americans as a whole have to work in order to pay the nation’s tax burden.

This year, Tax Freedom Day falls on April 19, 109 days into 2018."

I love how people who use public services cry about paying taxes.

I actually agree with tax reform but that doesn't mean abolishing taxes outright. How stupid.
