So poll right now says a little less than 40% think he's not going to flip and a little more than 60% think he is.
Since these numbers more or less mirror Trumps approval and disapproval ratings, it could be that this is just wishful thinking on for-Trump and against-Trump folks.
I suspect he'll hang tough for a time.
But the evidence is mounting up that he is in the same position as Manafort. Regardless of how much or how little he is willing to tell in order to avoid prison, Cohen knows too much to live out his life, whether in prison or out.
So he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
Wonder if Cohen or Manafort will be offered witness protection deals.
Cohen strikes me as a two bit lawyer that talks tough but will fold pretty quickly to save his own hide. I doubt he’ll go to the hoosegow to save Trump. Time will tell soon enough though.

He didn't work so hard in all those scams and associating with the worst elements of society just to watch all of that crumble away from the window of a jail cell.
He is banking on Trump to pardon him for any federal crimes, but if he figures that is unlikely he'll flip.
The thing is, everybody is talking about 'flipping' as if there is something to tell. Even Trump uses the term, which is revealing in a 'Freudian' sort of way..
If there is nothing wrong in Trumpville, there is nothing to 'flip' for, and nothing for Trump to be concerned about.
If one of my attorneys were suddenly in legal trouble, I would be shocked. I would be amazed and curious, reading the local papers about it perhaps, wondering why. I might feel bad for his family.

But I wouldn't be worried about it.
Precisely.
And Trump's behavior in the big scheme of things is very telling too, in my opinion. How often does Trump say "no collusion" whenever he's in front of a microphone? Almost always.
For a guy that has done absolutely nothing wrong (so Trump claims), why does he always feel the need to say "no collusion" and "witch hunt" six times a week? Also, why does he want the investigation to end so badly?
If Trump has nothing to fear like he says, he shouldn't care how long the investigation takes, and he shouldn't be stuck on saying "no collusion" every time he's mic'd up.
