Criticizing the president is mandatory.

Death threats are off the table.

Hate and fear mongering to discredit the president especially when a political party and prominent media outlets conduct a coordinated, unrelenting attack based on spurious rumors, lies and suppositions.

Dems and media are like little kids telling stories about the old guy down the street. If your baseball goes in his yard he will kill and eat you and throw your bones to his big dog. In that way the old man is the cause of hate and fear. that is exactly what the dems and media have done to Trump.

And guess what? the American people see what you are doing.

No, it it is a patriotic duty.

If you cannot criticize the president, we might as well be Russia or NK.

It’s extremely patriotic as long as it’s constructive.

This one is a little strange for me. I always held our Presidents in high regard, even our Republicans as well as our Democratic ones. That position was sort of sacred to me. And then along came Donald Trump.

I always try to find some good in every person, but there is nothing good about this man. No matter how I search and search for something, I honestly can not find one single thing to say nice about him. I can't say he is honest, nor ethical, or that he even cares about others and tries to do the right thing. Nothing, nada, zilch. He is simply a horrible pig of a human being, who loves to berate and step on others, only to make himself look better.

So, yes, in this case it is ok to criticize this President.

No... we are not subjects to the POTUS. It is absolutely American to voice criticism.

There's nothing wrong with criticizing the President when he is deserving of it. But the same goes for politicians that you might be politically aligned with.

Take the whole Al Franken thing. I was disappointed with Democratic leadership when they hesitated before running him out of there. Or how Obama had a red line in Syria and then when the line was crossed, he did nothing. I don't know if I wanted our country to get engaged in another conflict, but Obama shouldn't have made that ultimatum and then not back it up.

As an individual, I can recognize what I'd say are the faults of Democratic politicians. But it bothers me to no end when my politicians cannot criticize their fellow Democrats. And I hold the Republicans in contempt for the same thing.

It is okay to criticize the President if he is a member of the 'other' party.

When you are with Republicans, it is unpatriotic to criticize a Republican President.
When you are with Democrats, it is unpatriotic to criticize a Democratic President.

Why is it bad? A much more salient question would be....."is it bad to have an orange donnie two scoops as our president?"

There's a huge difference between donnie two scoops and Obama or Clinton....there is no moral equivalence here.

NONSENSE! Considering Trump's well documented history of lying, cheating, reneging on deals, stiffing contractors, etc., he's done a fine job of demonstrating his utter lack of character and integrity and done it all to himself.
