She can discuss whatever she wants. She's free to do it. And, people are free to listen to her or not based on what she says and does.

Same as always.

Why did they ask her this? probably just lost a couple magazine articles, maybe a few tv spots. I’d still trade bank accounts with her... and wouldn’t kick her out. Now she has apologized. Absurd

Not really.

I wish that twitter was never invented. But IMO people are using FB and twitter to be social media bullies. Using peer pressure to silence the minority viewpoints. It's a mob mentality in action with all the retweeting and like buttons. We've gone back to the days of the Roman empire, with the spectators at the Coliseum deciding life or death for the combatants by voting thumbs up or down, or going by the loudest crowd roar.

She better never sing "Feel like a woman" again after this display of cowardice. Allowing the rage addicts to shout her down like a little wimpy girl. Pathetic.

Anyone who doesn't know that their opinions, once publicized, may become fodder for social media critics is really dense.

Her comments were likely made to further ingratiate herself with the hillbilly music crowd as Trump is very popular with this subset.

I don't like nor listen to Shania Twain, don't even know her songs. But this whole thought police logic is getting to be seriously annoying. She apologized for the thought of wanting to vote for Trump if she could. I don't care which way celebrities vote or ....want to vote. But to attack her for her opinions is downright silly.
Two of my favorite country singers are Martina McBride and Sara Evans.

As I recall in past years, one of them was singing for one side while the other was singing on the other side. I don't recall now who was which.

Doesn't matter to me.......I love them both!

Lol...she’s hardly a country singer. Hell, she can’t even sing PERIOD.

Her stuff was overproduced schlock from Mutt Lange.

So now she has backtracked and proclaimed she never would have voted for Trump. She is against discrimination and narcissistic idiots.
