Why sit with a bunch of self absorbed Liberal/Progressive D bags? Why waste your time? Obama was one of them. Trump isn't.

So there are no conservative correspondents?

The Trump rally in Michigan was about a million times more interesting and funny than the liberal White House Correspondents Dinner.

He went to the right event.

Trump has zero sense of humor and there is no way he would ever participate in a roast where he might be the butt of a joke. His ego would never permit that. So it is probably best for everyone that he stays away from these events. Sort of like an angry antisocial uncle that no one wants to come to the holiday gathering.

NO ! I never hear one peep showing any gratitude from your side.

Do we ever hear one positive comment from your side about the fact that Obama thought enough of hard working, average people to craft a healthcare bill that gave millions their first ever health coverage ? Yeah, it isn't perfect, but your team hasn't been able to come up with something better yet.

Do we ever hear any of you say "thank you" for bringing our young people home from Iraq or for nailing Bin Laden ? No, not a whisper of thanks.

So now you want us to be bigger than you, huh ? Maybe when we stop seeing so much hatred from you all, toward a man who actually did accomplish some very good things for AMERICANS, then we might just take your lead and see some good in Trump.
Not remotely comparable but nice try. Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize for showing up to work.

I think Obama did okay but the Unaffordable Care Act is/was a disaster, I wish he had gotten us out of Iraq & Afghanistan, he made the recession worse until we elected a Republican Congress, the one thing he did I liked was open up relations with Cuba. I don't hate anyone and I respect Obama as a husband and father and seems to be a nice guy, just wrong on his policies.

Huge difference between good nature humor and vile attacks.

Apparently some people actually walked out of the event since much of it was offensive and vulgar.

Was Stormy the guest of honor?

I listened a bit. It's nasty -- I don't like that kind of mean stuff.

I've never watched the correspondents' dinner, most of us haven't, but this largely ignored event did have one lasting result.

after President Obama mocked trump mercilessly at the dinner in 2011, President trump had the last laugh.
