Forgot to add...if so many people think this is so terrible, why are we not targeting the source of these drugs? Using military to invade another country was certainly justified after 9-11, well heroin and other drugs have destroyed many more lives than 9-11, so justification in going into another country to destroy the fields and facilities is there... kind of strange that we never hear anything about going after the source, huh?
Well, what about the conservative paradise of Oklahoma City? While there and walking under an overpass I noticed a man on the ground sleeping. A few other people were begging for money. Maybe conservatives cutting food stamps from $16 a month to $8 doesn't help.

Nobody have ever given me a real explanation for why those fields of poppies in Afghanistan have not been burned. The Taliban burned them, but we don't. Now why is that?
This is what you get when you have “tolerant “ liberal policies . They tolerate stuff like this .

yes it does....you couldn't be more correct, the quality of society is most certainly declining, people are losing parenting skills, common sense, the art of problem solving and looking at a much larger picture, knowing, exactly how your words and decisions effect the lives of others....

And what about pharmaceutical distributors who ship millions of doses of opioids to towns of a few hundred population?
Im sorry to say, but the crackdown on prescription opiates years ago, was the cause for the rampant heroin epidemic so many cities are dealing with today. Once majority of the pill addicts could not get their drugs from their doctor anymore, or friends prescription, they all switched to readily available heroin, and theres no going back now, we have heroin addicts now, not pill addicts.
It may sound crazy, but its actually safer for addicts to use/abuse prescription opioids versus street heroin, at least with drugs obtained thru legitimate suppliers, they know what they are taking, with street heroin, anything and everything could be added to increase weight, in fact thats why so many were killed with carfentenyl laced heroin, (elephant tranquilizer), they had no idea what they were taking!
If you dont believe me, take a look at overdose figures and heroin related deaths, BEFORE the pill crackdown compared to today, both have skyrocketed every year since they targeted doctors, pharmacies.
Ultimately I think this was the goal, the drug cartels did not like so many users getting their fix thru another 'supplier', they probably demanded the DEA to crackdown on their competition and it worked, they are now the dominant heroin supplier to the ENTIRE country, no other competition to worry about now.
The typical heroin addict is a white male in his early 20’s who used opioids and other substances for recreational purposes.
It is known that some of the street people are not native to California and were former patients at high end rehabs concentrated in some metro areas in some states, especially California and Florida. They, like most addicts, quickly relapse once they are back in the real world. Their families are done with them.
The consequences of heroin addiction are prison ( at the state’s expense) or death.

The majority of heroin is coming from Mexico, Central and South America and is most likely entering via private watercraft. Fenranyl is being manufactured in China and is shipped in cargo containers.

Yes but violent crime rate is down nationally. Society is decaying but stats say we're fine.
