I would like to understand people who no matter how it is proven over and over that this president lies even when he doesn't have to and it gets him deeper in trouble they can justify this in their minds.
All presidents sometimes lie,we all know that but, this president is making lying the new normal and THAT is very scary for all of us.
We don't always agree with the decisions made for us on behalf of the president but, the lying puts us in a position to give up even paying attention and that is not good for our country.
Can you please explain to me why you feel the need to get so defensive and answer with what previous presidents have done rather than trying to understand how others are upset about this.
Its certainly not about "hate" I didn't hate Trump when he became president but, its getting harder with every lie he tells to want a man who cannot tell the truth running our country.
Anyone with any common sense hates it no matter what you want to call it. largest tax plan in years, destroyed much of the insurance market just to cover maybe 3% of the population.

That just it, they are SO OUTRAGED over Obama lying, but are just peachy with Trump lying. If they were genuine to themselves, a lie would be a lie, no matter who told it. Let alone when you get someone in the White House that makes lying the full time job.
Nobody becomes a successful businessman without the ability and inclination to be a convincing liar.
Really? List the lies of Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Richard Branson.
Then we can match it to the pages and pages of Trump lies and compare.
And if you throw in every real 'misstatement' as a lie, than Trump's 'misstatements' and 'hyperbole' will also be qualified as lies.
Do you think Gates, Buffett, Bezos, Musk and Branson are sued by all the workmen who do business with them just to get paid? Do you think there are no banks in the US that will not lend them money so they have to get it from Russian criminals?
And btw, the above businessmen have contributed to the betterment of society in many ways. Trump has destroyed ecosystems, stolen people's homes, stiffed investors, stiffed banks left and right and destroyed neighborhoods. The fact is that he has very few friends in the business world because nobody trusts him.
