I find this a bit unsettling maybe......need more info. I do not care for Trump but I'm also not a fan of the idea of one wire tapping a lawyer and their client.

There are a lot of people who only care about their politics. Nothing else matters........rights, people, nothing else matters other than furthering their politics.
This is turning out to be an entertaining Thursday.
As I slide (or fall) into my Golden Years, I had not thought that Politics would become so engrossing again. I feel like a youth again during the Watergate years!
The Feds have an almost insurmountable burden to get a wiretap order. They had info on Cohen before they got the wiretap. Check out listings on TBS for old Law and Orders.
The protection of lawyer-client privilege is lost when the lawyer is engaged in criminal activity with the client.
In other words, you have to violate attorney/cleint privilege in order to gather the information you need to justify violating attorney/cleint privilege.....
I would not be surprised if wiretap sought conversations completely unrelated to his representation of Trump (e.g., conversations with other parties) and one White House conversation got caught up on the wiretap incidentally rather than as a target.
That's the excuse the Deep State used to spy on Trump campaign members. "It was an accident."
