President Trump gave his speech at the NRA Convention. Guns were allowed to be carried during the convention except when the Secret Service would not allow any guns whatsoever at the venue when Trump and Pence were speaking. So I guess the Right to Bear Arms can be infringed after all. If the President deserves protection, so don't I and my family.

People have the right to bear arms if they retain their right to life.
Apparently, entering into the presence of a public official waives that right.
Curious, eh?

good lord, more ignorance here. once more time, the secret service says no guns around the president, and since they are tasked with protecting the president, they set the rules. it is not an infringement on ones right to keep and bear arms, since they are not taking away your guns, and they are not preventing you from buying guns. they are only stopping you from carrying a gun around the president.

please stop the crap like this.

That is EXACTLY what the liberals are asking for.

We just want to stop you from carrying a gun around US.

If this is NOT infringing on the 2nd Amendment, then let's get to work and make it happen!

Of course it is hypocritical when politicians protected by guns forbid the same for others, but hey thats how the state rolls.
But there is nothing wrong with a private entity having a "no guns policy" on its own property, or an event space it is leasing, etc.

BIG difference between "Don't bring guns to this event" and "Make civilian possession of guns and/or certain kinds of guns illegal".

By who? Did the NRA insist upon no guns, or was it the SS? Do we even have to ask? And if the SS says " no guns" then what is the NRA going to do ? Even the NRA understand limits on guns. You cant go into courtrooms, police stations, prisons or jails, schools, and such carrying guns.

Much to do about nothing .
