This one will stand out even more as it will take place just a few miles from the WH at the National Cathedral in DC. Look for Trump to be out of town that day.

It is rare for any sitting POTUS to attend the funeral of a former FLOTUS.

Maybe.

I keep thinking that the difference is that many of these politicians have a long history together, and while they may have had their fallings out, they have been forged by the same fire. Trump, on the other hand, has always been an outsider and is looked upon with suspicion by those old and venerated families whose progeny fill the halls and offices of the Capitol. He doesn't command their respect now, and I'm not sure they'll command his respect in death either. But I could be wrong. It's happened before.

Anyone find it odd that Mcsame would want Obama to deliver his Eulogy?

Not at all. McCain had an honorable history of reaching across the aisle.

No, Barack Obama is a genuine person that treated everyone with respect, even his political opponents. Barack Obama is America's last real President. Not a surprise at all that McCain with his lifetime of service to his country does not want Trump and his racist clown show to be a part of his funeral.

Trump and his cult should be treated as persona non grata by all Americans.

Ohhhh I'll show him, "I don't like you or your politics so I'm not going to invite you to my funeral!" How juvenile. So freaking what?

I'm just happy McCain will be out of office before he can do more "addled brain" damage. Like Reagan I wonder how long his brain has been addled before he said something?
Also, since he's said "I don't have to worry about politics or reelection anymore I can say what I want" at least now he's showing his true colors buddying up to Obama and Biden...

Quit lying to yourself, Obama was one of the most divisive Presidents we've ever had the misfortune of electing...

Do you have any examples of things that Obama did that were divisive?

Classy. Just like Donald ("I like people who weren't captured") Trump.
