The latest liberal cause to whine about. Family separation has been going on for years but because Donald Trump is President, it has become a very big concern of the open borders crowd.

Can I find a link that says Canada does not separate children from illegal immigrants, put those children in detention centers, medicate them without parental consent, and severely restrict their movements? Nope. It's such a ludicrous idea that no one in Canada needs to state that this does not happen.
How many immigrants are going to the Canadian border all at once? Just curious. One thing Canada does do is strictly enforce their immigration laws, which discourages this behavior. If the United States had been doing that all along we wouldn’t have this problem either. I read that the cartels are making millions of dollars a year escorting these people through Mexico to the border, so there is no incentive for Mexico to stop the practice, especially since they make millions of dollars a year on remittances and they get to shove off their poor to us so they don’t have to offer services to them. I wish these protesters were protesting the government policies of those countries and demanding better conditions. As western nations with lots of natural resources, there is no reason they should be so poor.

Exactly, children are being used.

Message to illegals with kids trying to enter the U.S. If you don't want to be separated from your kids, don't enter the U.S.

If these children were citizens you wouldn't be talking about how good the food looks you would be raising holy hell.

All kids do similar when they are taken from their parents, whether they are citizens or illegals. good grief.

There are probably over seven million people who are currently in prison, many of them have kids -- that they are separated from. Perhaps you should start a petition to throw kids in jails and prisons to be with their parents after those parents commit crimes and are incarcerated whether they are citizens or not. Yeah, then we'd be known as the country that imprisons innocent children

You are exactly right. This is a perfect analogy.

They don't care about the American children who get separated from their families. But they get angry when a family of illegal immigrants get separated because someone gets deported.

In the first place it is very unusual that both parents would go to prison, so there is usually a parent available to care for the child. Also, you don't get sent to prison the same day you break the law so you have months to find suitable arrangements for your children with grandparents, siblings, etc. It is NOT the same and that is a really lame argument.

The people down in Central America are listening to the activists - many who are from USA. They pass out all this propaganda stuff.

Parents send their OWN Children by trains - cars to American border by themselves. What kind of parent does this? America has always had borders and I am sorry I do not want total globalization like the elite want. Mexico is keeping their culture and I do not blame them. I was born and raised in the USA as were my parents and their parents. All US Citizens - deceased now but all born in the USA. I am tired of these politicians and I hope people rise up and say NO.

I just read an article about Californians will be fined in 2020 for using too much water so what sense does it make to keep bringing in all these people?

You want to stop illegal immigration? Then knee cap the magnet, the employers who willingly hire them and in many cases have labor contractors in Mexico and Central American countries who recruit them and arrange for them to get across the border. Next time you eat chicken wings think about who cut them up for you, chances are real good that it's an illegal immigrant working for Tyson, Perdue or Case Farms.

People don't come here for our beaches, they come here to work, or in some cases to escape violence.
