The whole - stop having babies thing is IMO very much overplayed.
You might be off on a tangent. Responsible men arent the ones that are impregnating women and then running away. Those are the ones that are creating the issues, along with the women that are allowing themselves to get pregnant by deadbeats, for whatever weird ideas they have. And telling people that shouldnt have babies to "stop having babies" isnt over played, it needs to be drilled into peoples heads much more often.

You have a problem with a teacher collecting a paycheck or a doctor? They try to change the world too.

There is much legislation that can be passed in order to correct the societal issues our country has had since it's inception.

It won't happen though.
Its a bit of a stretch to compare a folk singer and a rapper with the work of a Dr. saving lives in Syria or a teacher in an Urban setting. You can't legislate; love ,respect , morality, ethics and whole lot of other things that Americans are taught to trade for money.

No, its not a stretch. I've actually heard people say that teachers shouldn't want to make that much money if they truly loved what they were doing and were doing it for the kids. That's BS and its BS to denigrate artists for accepting payment for their work.

There are many things you can legislate that would help societal issues like poverty and lack of education.

I'm not not denigrating artist, I take issue with artist who use politics as a marketing tool. What's the point of going to school and getting a art degree if you don't intend to make a living, so yes get paid. But When I'm asked to believe supporting a certain artist is good for the world, give me a break. I enjoy collecting art, music, going to concerts and serving on art councils for the sake of art and not politics. Music videos always inspire political discussion even though that is just a marketing tool. I remember Madonna's music video "Like a Prayer" got lots of people taking too.

I don't watch rap videos so I guess I'll never learn the lesson we are all being instructed to learn from this video. So I suppose I'll never "get it"!

I saw his special and I do like Chris Rock as a comedian kind of - he's not my favorite but he's okay IMO. However, he was also a serial cheater and a porn addict and he did admit to this in his special yet people are overlooking that in regards to his "men are not loved unconditionally comment." His wife stayed with him for nearly 20 years yet he continuously disrespected her and honestly, put her in danger with his cheating (from STDs) and he is responsible for the demise of his family IMO.

I've seen this occur to men who were not serial cheating porn addicts lol. Whereas they lose a job and their women then want to kick them to the curb. This is a totally different situation. For Chris Rock, since he's a millionaire, his wife should not have left him if their marriage was predicated on his earning capacity. He's a millionaire. She left him because he was a crappy husband and a serial cheater.

I don't believe a majority of men do the bold at all and that most men who impregnate a woman do want to be the responsible father. As a woman, I'm completely aware of the fact that some women will push a man out of her life if she doesn't think he is "man enough" for her no matter if she has children by him or not, then she will b**ch about him. I also am completely aware of the fact that some men, like the women described above are a$$holes and that they will try to play games with a woman or use their children as pawns to try to control their former wife/girlfriend. Most couples who become pregnant were/are in long term relationships and not just fly-by-night sorts of things like men running around sticking their stuff in women and laughing and running away. Too often it seems people highly generalize this topic and make it like the latter.

IMO in regards to conversations like these about relationships, people often put their bias of the opposite gender in the mix. I believe that both parents should be responsible for their children and that if they don't want children they should use protection - not just the woman - too often it is put on the women only when a woman cannot make herself pregnant unless she goes to the sperm bank. Also, birth control measures are not 100% effective and they do fail and unplanned pregnancies occur as a result. However, I also applaud the women who are responsible parents who are single mothers - they are there for the child and they take care of them. I applaud single fathers who do the same, especially when they are not with the child's mother. Most men are involved in the lives of their children.

My point was that 98% of this country's parents are not like the Maury Povich show....

And babies aren't a bad thing. If people stop having babies our country and society and species will cease to exist. Also who is to say who should and should not have babies. People should stop generalizing people and judging them unnecessarily.

USA is not that bad in terms of violence. Look at Mexico, South America, Africa, The Middle East, etc. It is worse.

Humans have been killing each other since the dawn of time. Humanity has committed horrible things to each other, animals, the environment, etc. We need to understand and improve our psyche.

The human race is the beautiful letdown of life.

He is a nut case. And I'm very distrustful of those that listen to Alex Jones.
