I'm not sure what Batman's religion is, could be agnostic for all I know. Not sure what the point would be to specifically depict someone as Muslim. Are we going to have super hero depicted as a Christian?

Actually a pretty good point. The people this will upset the most is more traditional muslims.
If my memory serves me correctly, Israel has a marvel superheroine named " Sabra" who fired force spikes from a cloak or something. Iran had Aladdin I think his name was. He flew on a magic carpet. Not making this up, I have the comic book somewhere.
I'm not sure a moslem superheroine would work unless she'd be very religious and devout. I'm just tired of mexican superheroes flying across the border and taking American superhero jobs.

Hollywood used to release 120 westerns a year, including 20 in the singing cowboy sub genre. I think the 2 to 5 comic book movies they release eachyear is a reasonable number.
It used to be that the target(and natural) demographic for this sort of thing was geeky white teenage boys and young men who were probably awkward socially and not interested in new social trends. Is this not the case anymore?

And the movie reviewers treat these movies seriously. I actually tried watching Dr Strange on Netflix because it got such great reviews and of course Benedict Cumberbatch I believe is such a great actor. What a stupid waste of my time. I made it about half way through. How can people watch this stuff?
