Let's get this straight, the Mueller probe goes back one year. It's a whole different operation since the president killed off the FBI investigation, entirely new, with it's own budget. There have been at least two grand juries at work.
Special counsel Robert Mueller assembled a team of at least 17 lawyers for his investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election and potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. The investigation has already led to charges against 22 people and entities, including four associates of President Donald Trump. Mueller brought on private-sector attorneys and prosecutors from the Department of Justice. Meet the Mueller team
Too bad, so sad.
It is not a whole different operation. It's a continuation of the investigation that began in July 2016. Go read the Rosenstein letter appointing Mueller.
You can't be suggesting that Mueller started from scratch, received nothing already collected by the FBI/DOJ/IC regarding Russian interference, Manafort, Papadopoulos, etc.. Or can you ?
I didn't say that he was sure to get re-elected, just that it was foolish nonsense on the part of those so confident that he won't. People here declaring that he won't make it out of 2018 is just laughable. The moonbats said the same thing about 2017, and quite frankly 2017 wasn't a really good year for Trump in terms of getting things done.
But if he survived 2017 then 2018 will be a victory parade as his approval is at the highest since taking office and the accomplishments are rolling in in waves. Most of his 2017 "defeats" were liberal court injunctions that will be overturned by end of year. By this time next year, I predict he will have another SCOTUS nomination seated, 50 more federal judges appointed, DACA dead forever, Korean peace, new NAFTA, and first phase of border wall funding.
Time enough to add a Middle East scorched earth policy,
Pretty clear by now Mueller will not end his failed attempt to take out Trump, despite over a year wasted and 10's (if not 100's) of Millions of US dollars spent. Question is, does Mueller decend into full blown denial and keep up his vendetta into the years ahead? Will the failed Mueller investigation extend into Trumps second term?
Mueller was chosen to lead the special counsel. As per his job title, he is charged to lead an investigation into Russian meddling into the election. How precisely do you equate him doing his job as an investigator as him pursuing some personal vendetta against Trump? Mueller has absolutely zero stakes in this. He is even a republican and likely a conservative.
As for the cost of the investigation, I would say it's probably cost 15 million so far, by my own rough estimate of how much the first 4 months cost, which is basically the cost of a handful of golf trips for Trump. Spare me your fake indignation. If Obama was being investigated there is no amount of money that you would scoff at, LOLOLOL
