Now it's fair game to spew this hate, because after all, the president does.

Yes - the people who were horrified at the idea that someone could make a joke about eye shadow and wanted all kinds of terrible retribution for the person who did that are the same people who think it's fine and dandy to make snarky comments about someone's literal impending death.

All Statists are snowflakes. That's a given.

If you believe in collectivism and don't have the guts to be an individual, as well as do the things the State does to your neighbor in your name, you are a coward when it gets right down to it.

BIG difference.

Exactly, he's a rude, crude, boorish man. The puzzling thing is why are people so easily won over by style while placiing no importance on substance?

How about people stop being so butthurt about everything? That would be a fantastic start.

They view wrongly that extending rights to others hurts them.

You aren't that far off but you are a bit on one thing: The people with the true privilege haven't lost anything.

Working class people of all stripes have lost standard of living, and many working class people of the white variety have been convinced that the blame should go to minorities, gays, liberals, and pc college professors for their decline. The triumph of Lee Atwater and Roger Ailes, using white Americans tribalism to pit them against these groups as opposed to the people who really control everything and have made out like bandits post Reagan with the help of talk radio and Fox News.

And even when they go after "elites", the focus is on Hollywood and Universities, rarely on Wall St or big business. Funny how that works.

It takes a village to raise a child. Not everyone lives to be selfish.

I disagree.

Political correctness becomes adopted in the private sector or worse yet codified in the public sphere and people simply adapt at hiding who they are and what they really believe.

This is where freedom of association is paramount.

I want people to be able to say they hate whites, blacks, homosexuals, Asians, heterosexuals, whatever and not serve them at their place of business. That way I never accidentally give my financial support to those places.

All political correctness does, when codified in so-called civil rights, is allow people with what most consider ugly ideas to succeed. I don't want hateful people around me. I want them to fail.

Because some It has gone overboard.

If you want liberal policy and you feel a socialist society is the way to go - calling people who vote Republican or prefer conservative policy or are on the fence each election - “deplorable” because they want to vote or even consider the republican candidate is a ticket/recipe to a second term. Learn from past mistakes.

An example of PC- For instance 9/10 Native Americans don’t feel offended by Cleveland Indians logo yet the vocal minority of offended yell and scream - where do we start and where do end with all of this? Monuments? Changing “man” to “people”? I liken this movement to fixing your hang nail when you a have serious fatal disease
