Public labor unions have declined because republicans hate them.

Who is blaming it solely on booze and cigarettes ?

Booze however, can absolutely be the cause of someone living in poverty.

When you see those who claim to be poor and expect more welfare support, have money for booze and their cigarettes it does make you wonder how bad off they really are?

OR, WORK better jobs.

Oh wait, maybe they CAN'T get better jobs because of the choices THEY have made in life.
And then blame their situation on people who got an education or learned useful skills in order to get decent jobs

Blue-collar taxpayer hit hard by property taxes might also have something to do with this.

Among the low-income who are dependent on public assistance? Low levels of academic achievement, career placement (including work skills), and socioeconomic level are all correlated to poverty. Lowering the birth rate among those on public assistance to be on par with those NOT on public assistance would actually REMOVE the downward pressure on wages.

That really has to be explained to you?

The "unjust overaccumulation of resources by the wealthy" is caused by over-reproduction of the poor.

As I've already stated, women who receive public assistance, as a group, have a birth rate 3 times higher than women (with or without partners) who support themselves and their children without having to take public assistance.

Naturally, the outcome is going to appear as if wealth is concentrating, because it IS. The reason? Over-reproduction among the poor is weighting the scale at the bottom.

Your Socialist jargon (labor unions, "working people") pegs you as a follower. Somewhere along the line you got bad advice about who is responsible for your success. We see plenty of people here that think they are owed the basics without any effort on thir part. Your link only proves how many took this path of laziness. Too bad.

You mean the generation that overtly practised racism?
