Yeah, I wouldn’t organize a protest though. I would just vote for the guy they’re complaining about. You seem to think this type of suppression of political thought is okay, but I don’t. A handful of people don’t like their political contributions, but they’re not Publix’s only customers. It’s a shame these bullies are forcing people to choose sides, but I would have had a lot more respect for Publix if they would have stuck to their original statement.

We were all happy this little Nazi toad Hogg boy disappeared from the media and I thought maybe they rethought using him since he did more harm than good on their anti gun goals. Now he is back trying to subvert elections.
Publix should have just ignored the little fascist and nobody would have cared.

Publix has suspended making political contributions in the wake of mounting pressure over its support of Adam Putnam, a Republican candidate for governor who strongly backs the National Rifle Association.

“We would never knowingly disappoint our customers or the communities we serve,’’ said company spokesman Dwaine Stevens in a statement Friday. “As a result, we decided earlier this week to suspend corporate-funded political contributions as we reevaluate our giving processes.’’

Pathetic, another company that kowtows to the anti gun bullies.

It'd be real cute if someone were to sue Publix for a slip and fall tripping over these idiots...

It'd be pure comedy gold if someone tossed a roll of black cat fire crackers in a garbage can.

It's funny, I used to think Righties just skipped over the First Amendment in their haste to get to the Second Amendment. But then I read a thread like this (or one supporting moronic Trump and his obsessive bigotry playing out in the NFL) and i see that they aren't skipping the First Amendment, they just don't think it covers the people they disagree with.
