He did this because Sylvester Stallone told him to?

What's next, pardoning Stallone for making stupid movies?

Hey, Creed was pretty good.

this is what annoys me the most about people, you cant give credit where credit is due. it wasnt just stallone that made the plea, there were many others that also pushed for the pardon. and regardless of how long ago this happened, its still goes a long way to restoring the reputation of a fine man who should be recognized for his accomplishments, and not for being railroaded for a dubious "crime" that was designed to prevent sex trafficking, not going after the average citizen for taking their girlfriend across state lines.

and as someone suggested there are people that have been wrongly convicted of crimes that also deserve a pardon, but until these cases hit the presidents desk, they wont get consideration for pardon. besides why dont a lot of these people seek a pardon from the governor of their state instead, since most were convicted in state court. why load the president down with things like this?

Obama found it more important to pardon a cross-dressing military traitor. Go figure.

That was one of the very few things Obama got right.

totally agree. Who cares if someone else should have pardoned him, has it dawned on some of you, other presidents may not have been familiar with the story. Either way, the guy has been pardoned, his living relatives must be satisfied and not let it go to rest.

Never let a good lie die. Trump isn't a racist. He's a loudmouth. He's a dick most of the time. He says the wrong thing a lot. But he's not a racist. He was even adored by the biggest race-baiters back when he was on Team Democrat. But since switching to Team Republican, he's the most racist person that has ever lived in human history.

The whole Political Correctness stack of stupidity is the entire reason Trump won -- and I didn't want him to win. The following words are so misused/overused, they've become meaningless for intents and purposes:
  • Racist
  • Misogynist
  • Nazi
  • Fascist
  • Bigot
  • Islamophobe
  • Hatemonger
  • Mansplaining
  • Transphobe
  • Hate
  • Sexism
  • Triggered
  • Trigger Warning
  • Mansplaining
  • Manspreading
  • Carbon Footprint
  • White Privilege
  • Social Justice
  • Income Inequality
  • Diversity
  • Equality
  • Safe Space
  • Discrimination
  • Patriarchy
  • Rape Culture
  • Rapey
  • Rape Apologist
  • Cultural Appropriation
  • Microaggressions

When everyone is called a Racist, nobody is. Same goes for the entire list. Throwing out buzzword accusations isn't an argument and it isn't a policy. That's why Donald Trump is now president.

Post of the Year.

I dislike the man but understand the appeal.

Don't need a countdown on the left falsely playing the race card. It's an everyday occurence.

One of my favorite parts of his biography was a instance when he had purchased a racing modified automobile in an age when horse and buggy were still common and was stopped for a "speeding " .

The sheriff came up with the large arbitrary fine of $50 on the spot, as speeding tickets were not a common thing.
Jack peeled a $100 off of a large wad and told the sheriff to keep it because he would be coming back through the exact same way.
His story made a good movie too. James Earl Jones played him in “The Great White Hope.” I think they changed the character’s name to Jefferson, but it’s Jack Johnson’s story.
