Texas GOP....been a shameful group for a long time. Gohmert is practically brain-dead...the kind of followers that trump attracts.
Gohmert exemplifies the worst of redneck gooberism.
He and a good handful of other Pubs in congress are scared spitless of Mueller's investigation and that's why they're licking tRump's boots so vigorously. They likely have Russian cash in their own campaign warchests and desperately want to keep it hidden from the public.
Agreed, seizing attorney client privileged material is a new low, heck, Ken Starr didn't even stoop that low.
See, here's an example right here. Is the misleading statement and/or lying on your part accidental or intentional? You follow the news closely so I have no doubt you know there's an independent Special Master appointed by the judge to cull out and separate the priveleged material from the non-priveleged. The judge did this specifically to protect Cohen's attorney-client priveleged communications.
Rep. Louie Gohmert put out a a report documenting Mueller's rampant unethical conduct, the report was eye opening, it's too bad more people didn't take the time to read it.
It's getting to the point that some of the most extreme voices on the far right should be charged with sedition.
They are actively undermining a federal investigation into foreign intervention, which undercuts national security.
You do have 1st Amendment rights -- but there are limits; for example, you cannot rile up people to overthrow the government.
People who know better -- certain politicians, certain media talking heads -- should face consequences for spreading outright lies and propaganda designed to stir up unrest among the public.
Same could be said for what happened on inauguration day.
With all the smashed windows, vandalism, and burnt limo...
Or is sedition a new word you just learned to subjectively re-interpret to suit your needs?

Thanks. Pointing out the dishonesty and total BS in post #13.

There's a difference between thugs and vandals (from either the right or left) and certain politicians and professional broadcasters who know better. That's my point. Yes, those who break windows should be prosecuted. But right now there are certain politicians and broadcasters who deliberately inciting unrest with outright lies and propaganda. If things get worse they need to be held accountable for what they do.
