I heard clips on the radio of Tom Arnold telling the interviewer that he thought Roseanne didn't want her show to continue, so she consciously or subconsciously sabotaged it. She was living in Hawaii, doing her own thing but now had to take orders from the network so she rebelled.

What I find funny is Disney/ESPN signing Keith Olbermann who is the male version of Roseanne -- nuts!
