Several conservatives have been fired at Fox News including the president and they were not "small things". I see the governor of Missouri just resigned over another small things.

Maybe Samantha Bee should have asked Trump’s permission to call his daughter a C on the air, the way Howard Srearn did when he asked Trump if it was OK to refer to Ivanka as a piece of ass. Permission granted. Trump then engaged in an on the air discussion of his daughter’s breast size. Who does this?

You bet there is a double standard! ANY other president who said and did the things Trump has said and done would have been gone months ago. Somehow, he is excused from the standards that have always been in place. Somehow, he is given a pass.
There is a sense of righteousness associated with progressive politics. It's always been that way. Individuals that strive to change things will always louder and more extreme in their actions as a collective whole. This is why the left will riot when they lose elections. This is why a right wing bumper-sticker can lead to broken windows. This is why the outrage is always more it's something progressives champion. They will always be and have always been louder even when they are the minority or possess little to no societal power.
Right now, in this country they have slightly less power despite the notion that it seems as if they have far more power.
