He also seems to admire brutal dictator Erdogan in Turkey and brutal dictator Duterte in the Philippines. In fact, he seems to have a soft spot for brutal dictators in general. But our good friend and next door neighbor Canada? "National security threat".
Got to wonder why the U.S. is cozying up to dictators and dissing our allies.

Oh good grief, he's not alienating any of them. He's merely pushing them to step up to the plate and help out a little more and/or to stop screwing the US over on trade. The EU charges a 10% import tax on American vehicles, whereas the US charges 2.5%... the EU unweighted average customs duty on US imports stands at 5.2%, whereas the US's is 3.5%.... the US pays for a majority of NATO's funding and provides a huge security umbrella for the EU... but the US is, of course, the bad guy to liberals.
