In a series of Tweets, Trump characterized the victims of Harvey as storm watchers who voluntarily sat in the boats to watch the storm. He further incorrectly described the rescuers as being mostly from out of state, saying he did not understand why the victims were rescued at all

I should amend my initial comment, there are certain segments of our society who lack empathy, compassion, and humanity. There are still large populations who hold the values we as Americans claim to represent.
