Many are livid over a now-viral video of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials patting down a 96-year-old woman in a wheelchair at Washington Dulles International Airport in a six-minute screening being described as “totally disgusting” and “uncalled for” on Facebook
I think part of the outrage is when you see others going through that aren't pulled aside to be checked, yet the TSA does things like this. One article last year, and you may have been the one who posted it, was about an older gentleman being forced to remove his prosthetic leg.
It's not the senior citizens we have to worry about, as far as I know.
If you think like a criminal looking for a way to get something onto a plane a person in a wheel chair could be the perfect cover. You slip it in to their chair somehow...
So if one organization is using that "tactic" to get past entry/exit security, why can't another......and knowing that, we would be fools to ignore that.

They do, and that's why we have crap like this. They also pay poor women to rent their babies then disguise the drugs as formula.
Stop worrying about the war on drugs and legalize them all with 100% tax rates slapped on them. Problem solved. Crime rates plummet because there is no black market as the prices of all hard drugs plummet due to increased availability. Government revenue shoots through the roof... more than enough to open some rehab centers and help addicts start a better life versus throwing them in prison and supporting the prison industrial complex. In fact the money saved from having all these agencies like the DEA eliminated would itself pay for rehab centers. We'd enter a new golden age where drug use is a choice, and drugs are approached with knowledge and facts instead of ignorance and scare propaganda.
Truth is that elderly people can commit drug crimes and even violent crimes. Where we draw the line between "just following orders" or "it's standard procedure" and outright invasion of privacy is blurred. In the case of this TSA story, I would call it "invasion of privacy". The thing that really stinks is being to successfully sue a government agent since they often have legal immunity.

Those selling drugs now could easily undercut the legalized drugs. Nothing solved there.
